Craig Burk has been in the metal industry over 30 years. Back in 1979, he started out building pressure vessels for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Craig then moved on to the nuclear industry, for a few years, before finding out what he enjoyed the most. . .he’s been working in the architectural industry ever since.
The mid 90’s helped him learn to develop assemblies, the installation process, metal surface finishes, pre-weathering metal & cleaning processes for all type of material type. Working with stainless steel, copper, zinc, A588 steel & aluminum for most of the last decade.
While Craig was working as plant manager for a sheet metal outfit down in Dallas, Standard Sheet Metal presented him the opportunity to move back to Kansas City to be our Shop Foreman.
Over the years, Craig has worked all around the country, on a wide variety of projects, with some of the biggest names in Architecture. Today, Craig enjoys the good life here in the midwest and being able to watch his kids play sports while searching for the best Springfield style cashew chicken he can find.
