The design team at DRAW had in mind a simple and elegant European style canopy to clearly define the entry. SSM developed a systems approach that would be clean and uncluttered.
Utilizing our precision laser cutter, parts were cut and shaped to respond to the Architect’s design intent.
The framing system for the signature glass entry canopy was fabricated as a three piece module by SSM. That allowed us to have a tight fit up of the components and execute all of the welding in our shop. The components were craned into place, secured and then the glass panels were inserted.
