Description

When one is working on a building of such historic character, it is an honor to be considered for the work.  It is also important to make certain that your work matches the original work such that one cannot tell the new work from the original.  That was the target we set for ourselves for this project.

Responding to the architectural team’s intent to make these new galleries match those found in the rest of the 1930s structure, SSM created over 800 linear feet of new air supply and return grilles that matched the originals such that one cannot distinguish between new and old.

Thou our scope played only a small part in this remodel effort, we took our role very seriously, carefully selecting just the right materials and working closely with our painter to ensure that every element matched the original.
