Focus Architecture detailed a perforated panel to provide separation between the patrons entering Foody’s Restaurant and the patrons dining in the restaurant.  SSM produced and installed an aluminum plate that was almost 9’ wide x 7’ tall with 6” diameter openings.  Due to material size limitations, SSM needed to weld together two custom perforated plates.

By welding between the perforations, the amount of welding required was greatly reduced.  The whole surface was aggressively polished with a satin, non-directional finish that catches light and catches the eye.  The result, a striking feature that greets all who enter.
