Shawn Mann

Vice - President / Owner

Shawn has always lived in the Midwest growing up in Salina, Kansas. After college he moved to Kansas City seeking employment in the construction industry and made the region his hometown ever since. Shawn started his career in 1997 as an estimator in architectural sheet metal and has now been active for over 27 years in the industry. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for SMACNA.

Shawn is as Vice President of SSM and leads the estimating and marketing efforts for the company. His experience in estimating and project management slated the groundwork needed to gain the opportunity to entrust the prior ownership group that they could be the successors to their family business. In February 2014 Shawn took the next step in his career, becoming an owner at SSM.

Outside of work, Shawn enjoys spending time at family get-togethers, watching sports, classic cars, or collecting antique coin-op machines. On any given weekend he may be watching a game on tv or in the bleachers, attending a car show, working on an antique gum-ball machine, or spending time with family during the holidays or barbecuing.
