Description
The College of Education, located on the KSU campus in Bluemont Hall, offered many positives for their students. One thing they lacked however was an entry that greeted their students in a welcoming manner and provided the department with a sense of identity.
The new entry feature, added during the summer of 2024 addresses both.
SSM clad the new entry’s fascia and soffits to create a warm and inviting entry. Using our 450 Series ACM panel, we fabricated the components for the fascia elements. Then, using Parklex’s Prodema wood grain components, we clad the soffit feature.
Together, these elements provided this early 1980’s building with the entry that was missing when the building was built.
