Joshua Bright
Project Manager / Estimator
Working for 12 years in residential housing construction, Josh worked for several companies learning the whole process – framing houses, foundations and flat work, cabinet building, and remodeling. Before entering the trade, he was already experienced in the construction field.
Josh entered the trade in 2008, serving his apprenticeship in a small shop in North Kansas City that specialized in industrial and food plant industries. It was there he learned to work with heavier gauge metals and Tig weld stainless steel for food grade/sanitary applications. Being a custom fab shop, very few jobs were the same and this expanded his learning opportunities.
Josh came to work for Standard in 2016 as a journeyman in the shop on the custom metals side. In the Fall of 2018 he became our shop foreman for our custom metals division. With the retirement of Craig in June of 2022 Josh is now our new shop Superintendent. We are excited for Josh to fulfill this role and look forward to him leading our company into the future.
